Our Story
M3 Powered Industries was born out of resilience, reinvention, and a deep calling to serve.
After seeing and experiencing multiple corporate displacements, Marlene Lawson decided it was time to create something of her own. Drawing on over three decades of experience in leadership, talent development, and coaching, she formed Power of M Consulting in 2019.
During her corporate journey, Marlene was introduced to the practice of Mindfulness, a concept that transformed not only her work but her way of being. She began infusing mindfulness into her facilitation and coaching sessions, pairing it with what she called “Marlene’s Motivational Moments.”
From that foundation, M3 Powered Industries, LLC was established—a company rooted in faith, focused on growth, and committed to helping people show up powerfully in the world.

Meet Marlene Lawson
Marlene Lawson is the Founder and CEO of M3 Powered Industries, a purpose-driven parent company behind two distinct yet connected ventures: Power of M Consulting and Pom-Pom Travel.
With three decades of experience in Human Resources, Talent Development, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, as well as program and project management, Marlene has built a career helping people grow—professionally and personally.
Her corporate journey has included leadership roles at several Fortune 500 companies, with a focus on early talent, university relations, and leadership training for all levels.
A graduate of Florida A&M University (FAMU) and a longtime member of several non-profit and community focused organizations, Marlene remains committed to education, especially within underserved communities.
She’s a mentor, coach, world traveler, and DIY enthusiast who believes travel is life’s best teacher. She lives by the mantra: “Plant seeds to grow trees, whose shade I may never enjoy.”
She currently resides in NC with her husband Ron, enjoying the next chapter of life, focusing on retiring comfortably, leaving a legacy, and continuing to pay her blessings forward.
